Plio

Plio is an exploration of designing with a single sheet metal material. The project aims to transform a simple material into a functional, manufacturable, and customizable object.

It is a smartphone wallet that combines multiple functions into a single product: card storage, a bottle opener, and a magnetic attachment system compatible with MagSafe.

Plio responds to the need to simplify everyday objects by merging them into one compact solution. Through metal folding, the design achieves a strong, minimal, and functional structure.

The magnetic system allows the object to attach securely to the back of the phone without causing damage, thanks to integrated shielding and controlled magnetic fields.

Technical specifications:

Anodized aluminum sheet structure with neodymium magnets arranged in a MagSafe-compatible ring. Includes protective coating and an internal ferrite or polymer layer to control the magnetic field and prevent interference. Optimized for secure attachment, precise alignment, and device protection.
